“‘Mondblume’ was conceived as an intentional entrance into winter. The piece begins with a shrill wind that relents to layered rays of analogue synthesis; then, bells & malleted tones, faded woodwinds, and pizzicato shadows from avant jazz bassist Spencer Zahn settle into the recesses. The track is complemented in visual expression with a glacial cover image, made in Iceland by American photographer Ron Jude.” - Michael A. Muller
