Deutsche Grammophon continues the genre-defying project Fragments, an invitation from Deutsche Grammophon for thirteen leading electronic artists to respond to a single composer. With one single released each month, Fragments gradually builds over the course of a year.

“Lili Boulanger’s original piece has this enchanting quality that’s hard to put into words. The more I dug into her life, the more I realised she’s this incredibly talented artist, who deserves a bigger spotlight. Her story hits close to home. I’m a big advocate of equal rights and there’s still a journey ahead of us. It feels good to be part of bringing Lili’s journey back into focus and continuing to champion the causes she was passionate about.
Her music isn’t just a snapshot of the challenges women faced (and still face) in the arts; it’s a loud
reminder that says, ‘Women’s voices matter!’ I take pride in playing a role in ensuring her impact
resonates for generations to come.”

FRAGMENTS – the album project celebrating music past and present by inviting some of today’s most innovative artists - goes into the second season by reworking the compositions of composer Lili Boulanger featuring Anja Schneider with Soir sur la plaine.
