The album with duet song repertoire for two female voices and piano by J. Brahms, R. Schumann, E. Chausson, M. Bonis, C. Saint-Saëns, G. Fauré, M. Malibran, P. Viardot, C. Gounod is an extension of the musical partnership of Katharina Konradi (Soprano) and Catriona Morison (Mezzo-Soprano). They are joined by pianist Ammiel Bushakevitz.

The duets speak of love, lovesickness, seduction, the sheer joy of life, and the forces of nature. This repertoire encompasses the feelings of reverie, of being in love, of being “romantic”, but there are also further aspects that are profoundly human and run-of-the-mill. This programme contains all imaginable colours, from everyday life to the dream world.
