King of keys! This accordionist will surprise you🎹

Martynas Levickis is breaking musical boundaries, combining classical with pop or tango. He wants to bring the accordion out of its niche and even reinvent it. The young Lithuanian is one of the world's most sought-after accordionists. We met him at the Rheingau Musikfestival in Wiesbaden.

Martynas Levickis was born in 1990 and grew up in a small town in Lithuania – initially wanting to learn the piano. But pianos were expensive, so his godfather gave him a small accordion instead. It wasn't long before his talent was discovered through competitions and performances on television. By the age of 20, he even became the Accordion World Champion and won on the TV show "Lithuania's Got Talent," launching his international career.
